Purpose:
Intermediate Obedience class is intended for handler/dog
teams who want to continue to sharpen the obedience
skills taught in the Basic Obedience class.
Content:
Handler/Dog teams will continue to work on commands
learned in the Basic Obedience class. Attention will
be give to sharpening the performance and precision of
the team while working in an environment with
distractions. Exercises designed to build the skills
required to pass the Canine Good Citizen Test which will
be offered as an option at the end of this class.
Prerequisite:
Basic Obedience class or equivalent expertise.
Length of Class:
Intermediate Obedience class meets once a week for an
hour for eight weeks.
